So many Sides for Pulled Pork Sandwiches to choose from!!  If you are looking for inspiration on what to have with your pulled pork sandwich, then you have come to the right place.

Your choices are customizable and completely delicious.  However, a pulled pork sandwich is rarely enough for adults.

Pulled Pork Sandwich Sides: Pea Salad, BBQ Sauce, Cucumber Tomato Onion Salad, and Air Fryer Corn on the Cob.

What Chips Go with Pulled Pork Sandwiches?

I don’t think there is any chips that will not go with pulled pork sandwiches.  My favorite is a classic potato chip!  And a close second is Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips.

There are so many choices.  Kettle chips, baked chips, classic chips, ruffle chips, and corn chips.  And let’s not forget about the different flavors of chips.

Some choices are sour cream and onion, BBQ, cheddar, cheddar and sour cream, original, salt and vinegar and sea salt.  What is your favorite?

Can a Pulled Pork Sandwich Topping also be a Side?

I have always wondered this!  If I am serving something as a topping for a pulled pork sandwich, should I also have enough if they want it as a side dish also?!?!

Like, if I have creamy coleslaw to put on the top of the sandwich, are the guests going to take more as a side dish?

What is Served with Pulled Pork Sandwiches

When having a pulled pork sandwich bar for a party or gathering, have your guests bring an assortment of different sides.  This takes the work load off you so that you can enjoy the party!

And it makes your guests feel useful.  Just make sure to work on peoples strengths when figuring out what sides they are to bring.

If your guest is not a cook, don’t ask them to bring a complicated side dish.  Maybe a store-bought side like potato chips would be a better option.

Sides for Pulled Pork Sandwiches: Smoked Asparagus, Chili, Broccoli Salad, and Coleslaw

Side Bar for Pulled Pork Sandwiches

That’s right, I said side bar! Set up a side bar just dedicated to all your sides. Use mini blow-up tubes to hold ice for the cold items like fruit salad, potato salad, pasta salads, and deviled eggs.

Have a slow cooker or crock pot area with an electrical strip (or 2) to plug in the hot side dishes such as baked beans or green beans casserole.

Vegetable Sides for Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Are you looking for vegetable sides for your pulled pork sandwiches?  Try these glazed carrots, griddle grilled butternut squash, smoked asparagus, green onions, and a great grilled corn recipe.

Soup Sides for Pulled Pork Sandwiches

A soup and sandwich is one of my favorite meals.  Restaurants have sections of their menus dedicated to soup and sandwich selections.

Try this cheesy broccoli cauliflower soup, chili, and cheesy bacon and asparagus soup.

Salads for Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Salads are probably the most popular side dish for a pulled pork sandwich.  A classic potato salad is always a good choice.

If you are looking to use up some of those garden vegetables, then try a cucumber tomato onion salad or broccoli salad.

Sauce Sides for Pulled Pork Sandwiches

For those guests that like a flavor packed meaty sandwich, make sure to have a supply of sauces for them to experiment with.

Flavored aioli’s, Dijon mustard, dipping sauce, hot sauce, and even brown sugar barbecue sauce is a must.

Fried Sides for a Pulled Pork Sandwich

If you are serving pulled pork sandwiches to order, fried side dishes might be a great choice for you. Fried foods are not a great choice for a side bar set-up.

Use a deep fryer or an air fryer. Great fried food options are French fries, sweet potato fries, hush puppies, corn fritters, and onion rings.

Dessert Sides for Pork Sandwiches

Let’s not forget about the sweet tooth desserts to go along with pulled pork sandwiches!  Desserts are my favorite thing in the whole wide world!

Wouldn’t your guest love to have a piece of fruit cookie pizza with their sandwich?  Check out the list for more options.
