S’mores are a great all-around dessert that does not have to be just a summer treat. These smores have been a huge hit for many, many years.

It’s simple and takes less than five minutes.  One s’more is never enough so plan on making extras!

Kids love making s’mores so make sure to include them in the assembly process.  S’mores are not just for beach bonfires!

How to Make S’mores in the Oven

Gather all the ingredients to make the s’mores recipe.  Preheat the Blackstone Pizza Oven to 400°F.  If using a kitchen stove, then preheat oven to 400°F.

Use a sheet pan or pizza pan to arrange the smores on.  Start by breaking a whole graham cracker in half.

Place the graham cracker half (one square) onto the baking sheet pan.  Add a couple pieces of Hersey’s chocolate bar on top of the graham cracker.

Put 2 large marshmallows or several mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate bar.  Repeat this process several times until you have the desired number of s’mores prepared.

How to Cook Oven Smores

Carefully place the baking pan into the Blackstone Pizza Oven or the kitchen oven on the top shelf.  These s’mores in the oven will cook very quickly (1 to 2 minutes), so make sure not to burn them.

Look for a nice golden-brown color on the outside of the marshmallows.  The insides of the marshmallows will become gooey soft, and the outsides will create a crispy shell.

Make sure not to burn the chocolate.  The chocolate bar will hold its shape until moved or touched.

Using a hot pad or oven gloves, remove the pan from the oven when the marshmallows are golden-brown in color.

Take the other half of the graham cracker and gently press down on top of the cooked smore.  Serve the s’mores warm with plenty of napkins.

  1. What a great idea for s’mores in the winter! It’s -39F here right now and we are not heading outside today for a campfire, lol. So this is perfect for my daughters’ sleepover snack!

  2. Ummm this is genius! The kids have been begging for s’mores this summer but we have a total outdoor fire ban on to prevent bushfires in our area (Aus), how did I not think to make them in the oven??
