With the announcement of another new Blackstone Pizza Oven (at the beginning of 2023) that has been added to Blackstone Products outdoor appliance line, you might be looking for more pizza recipes to make.
Using the Blackstone pizza oven is my favorite way to make homemade pizzas. These outdoor pizza ovens are a great addition to the Blackstone Products line.
Due to the two pizza stones, the crust is crispy on the bottom, and golden brown on the top. Make a homemade pizza in under 10 minutes!!

Homemade Blackstone Pizza Dough Recipe
If I am going to take the time to fire up my outdoor pizza oven, then I am planning ahead to make my amazing homemade pizza dough recipe. Get my easy pizza dough recipe for Blackstone pizza dough.
This naan bread dough recipe is light and airy when pressed and stretched out with your fingers. For a thin and crispy crust, use a rolling pin to roll out the pizza dough.
Don’t want to make your own pizza dough? Then you can use a store bought pre-baked pizza crust, refrigerated pizza crust dough tubes, or packaged pizza dough kits.
Smoked Salmon Dip
Learn how to make my smoked salmon dip. Take your smoked fish and flake the pieces with a fork.
Make sure when you are separating the fish layers that you are watching and picking out any bones that may not have been removed. Remove any skin that may be left on the smoked salmon.
Place the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl and stir with a spoon until smooth. Add the shredded smoked salmon, seasonings, lemon juice, milk, and stir together until completely incorporated.
Use this smoked salmon dip as a base or sauce for the salmon pizza.

- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese – Store bought or freshly shredded will work
How to Make a Smoked Salmon Pizza
Gather all the ingredients to make the salmon pizza. Turn on and preheat the Blackstone pizza oven on medium-to-medium high heat. Preheating will take about 10 to 15 minutes.
It is best to cook the homemade pizza directly on the hot pizza stone. Press out the pizza dough crust.
Flour your hands or rolling pin well to prevent sticking to the dough. For easy transfer, assemble the pizza on top of the pizza peel.
TIP: Use a generous amount of corn meal under the pizza dough to prevent sticking and to help getting it in and out of the oven.
To get the pizza crust to the desired size, use the tips of your floured fingers to press the dough from the center outward.
For an airier crust, use your fingertips. For a thinner crispy crust, use a rolling pin.
Spread a layer of the prepared softened smoked salmon dip on top of the pizza dough crust. Sprinkle the shredded smoked salmon and a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the cream cheese and fish dip.
How to Cook a Smoked Salmon Pizza
When the pizza oven temperature gauge is at least 500°F or higher, cook the pizza. Use the pizza peel to slide the freshly made smoked salmon pizza to the back of the pizza oven.
If desired, place the oven door back on to help keep the heat in. Every couple of minutes, check the pizza.
Use the pizza peel to rotate the salmon pizza on the pizza stone to help it cook evenly. Cooking times will vary for all pizza ovens.
Smaller pizzas will cook in about 4 to 6 minutes. A large pizza will cook in about 10 minutes.
When the smoked salmon pizza has a crispy golden-brown bottom crust and the melted cheese is browned, remove from the pizza oven. Make sure to check the center of the pizza is fully cooked.
Place the pizza with smoked salmon on a cutting board to cut into pieces with a pizza rocker or pizza cutter. Serve immediately with your favorite sides like a salad.

If you want to take your pizza made with smoked salmon to the next level, then consider adding one or more of these toppings for some more intense flavors.
- Fresh Chives
- Dollops of Sour Cream or Crème Fraîche
- Sprinkle of Fresh Dill
- Brush on some freshly Roasted Garlic
How to Store Leftover Salmon Pizza
Store leftover cold salmon pizza recipe in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat any leftover pizza in the pizza oven, stove oven, microwave, or air fryer. You can also serve leftover pizza cold!!

- Smoked Salmon 1 filet
- Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded 1/2 cup

How to Make a Smoked Salmon Pizza
- Gather the ingredients to make the smoked salmon pizza.
- Turn on and preheat the Blackstone pizza oven on medium high heat. Preheating will take about 10 - 15 minutes. It is best to cook the homemade smoked salmon pizza directly on the hot pizza stone.
- Press out the pizza dough ball. Flour your fingertips or rolling pin well to prevent sticking to the dough.
- To easily move, assemble the pizza on top of the pizza peel. TIP: Use a plenty of corn meal under the pizza dough to prevent sticking and to help getting it in and out of the pizza oven.
