DO YOU WANT TO GRIDDLE LIKE A PRO?

Do you add milk to scrambled eggs?

It depends upon texture of the fully cooked eggs that you want to make. When adding milk to your egg it will result in a fluffy scrambled egg.

It does require an extra step and ingredient.  You can add eggs, a splash of milk if desired, sprinkle salt and pepper into the bowl then beat till smooth with a fork.

Which bread to use?

Any bread will work for this egg sandwich recipe.  I prefer to use a semi-thick white bread that is spread with butter and toasted golden-brown on a flat top griddle.

Its fluffy soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and when bitten into, does not fall all apart.

How do you Make Scrambled Egg Sandwich?

Gather all the ingredients to make your egg recipe.  Preheat the Blackstone Griddle to medium heat or your e-series Blackstone Griddle to 300°F.

Break your eggs into a small bowl.  If you want fluffy eggs, add a splash of milk to the eggs.  With a fork, whip your eggs until completely combined.

Butter each slice of bread on one side only.  Place the butter side bread on to the hot griddle.

Lightly grease the griddle with your favorite oil.  Pour the eggs on top of the hot greased griddle.

Scrambled Egg Seasoning

Quickly season the cooking eggs with your favorite seasonings.  You can use salt and pepper.  I like to use a light sprinkle of Lawry’s Seasoned Salt and Morton Nature Seasonings

Let the eggs cook for about a minute and then start scrambling the eggs with a griddle spatula.  Cook until the desired egg doneness is achieved.

Place the cooked eggs onto the un-toasted slice of bread.  Top with your favorite filling and then the last slice of bread so the toasted side is out.  Remove from the griddle and serve right away.

How to Store Scrambled Egg Sandwich

Sometimes when I’m not going to eat all of my egg sandwich, I like to save it for later.  I will also make extra sandwiches to have a quick meal for a later time.

Let the sandwich cool completely before storing.  Wrap the fully assembled scrambled egg sandwich in a piece of paper towel.

Place in a sandwich Ziplock bag or an airtight storage container for up to 2 days.  The toasted bread will lose its crispy texture, but the flavor of the scrambled egg sandwich will still be there.
