Blackstone Grilled Corn On The Cob In Foil

Grilled Corn on the Cob in Foil cooked on a Blackstone griddle is so easy and mouth watering delicious!  When summer rolls around, I think of fresh sweet corn!!  

I love stopping by little stands along a country road that has fresh sweet corn.  Farm to Table is the best!!  

Blackstone Corn on the Cob

Three ingredients are all you need to make grilled corn on the cob.  Leave the husk on to help steam the corn to its perfect tenderness.  

Blackstone corn on the cob can be made ahead of time and then grilled when ready to eat.  When ready to cook your meal, place the foil wrapped corn on the cob to the back of the griddle.

How To Cook Corn on the Cob on the Grill

Gather all your ingredients to make the grilled corn on the cob in foil.

Carefully peel back the husk without removing any.

Remove all the silk from the corn and the husk.  

Silk fibers removed for corn and husk.

Once all cleaned of the silk, spread about 1 tablespoon of softened butter onto the corn kernels.  

Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter onto corn kernels.

Sprinkle your favorite seasoning on top of the softened butter.  My favorite is Northern Spice Co. Simply Three from Manistee, Michigan.

Replace the husk to its original place being careful to cover all the buttered corn.

Wrap the corn on the cob in a sheet of foil starting at a corner.  Completely roll the corn up so that no part of the cob is exposed.  

How Long to Cook Corn on the Cob

Preheat the Blackstone griddle grill on the lowest setting.  Once hot, place the corn on the cob in foil onto the flat-top and cover with a dome lid.  

Turn the corn with a pair of tongs every 10-15 minutes.  Cook the grilled corn on the cob in foil for about 40 minutes.  

Remove the corn from the Blackstone griddle and check for doneness.

If the corn on the cob is not done, then wrap back up with the foil and return to the griddle.  Continue cooking until corn is fully cooked.

What to Serve with Blackstone Corn on the Cob

Grilled corn on the cob in foil can be served with smoked pulled pork, griddle chicken kabobs and chicken fried rice. Prepare with your favorite meal and serve this corn on the cob and cheese and bacon hasselback potatoes.

Ingredients

  • Sweet Corn 2 each
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Simply Three Seasoning 1/8 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the grilled corn on the cob in foil.
  2. Carefully peel back the husk without removing any of the husk.
  3. Remove all the silk for the corn and the husk. The string like silk pieces are something that you do not want to eat.
  4. Once all cleaned of the silk, spread about 1 tablespoon of softened butter onto the corn kernels. You can use salted or unsalted butter.
  5. Sprinkle your favorite seasoning on top of the softened butter. Use salt and pepper, or one of my favorite is Northern Spice Co. - Simply Three seasonings.
  6. Peel the husk back onto its original place being careful to cover all the buttered corn. This will protect the corn as it cooks and also steam the corn.
  7. Wrap the corn on the cob in a sheet of foil starting at a corner. Completely roll the corn up so that no part of the cob is exposed.
  8. Preheat the griddle grill on the lowest setting. Don't use any wind guards because you do not want the griddle to become to hot.
  9. Once the griddle is hot, place the corn on the cob in the foil onto the flat-top and cover with a dome lid.
  10. Turn the corn with a pair of tongs every 10-15 minutes. Cook the grilled corn on the cob in foil for about 40 minutes.
  11. Remove the corn from the griddle and check for doneness. If the corn on the cob is not done, then wrap back up with the foil and return to the griddle. Continue cooking until corn is fully cooked.
  12. Corn will be very hot so be careful not to burn yourself.

Corn on the cob in foil can be cooked on a grill, griddle, smoker and even in the oven on a baking sheet.
