How to Make Blackstone Cheese Crisps?
Set the Blackstone griddle temperature on medium to preheat. Gather the ingredient and supplies needed to make your homemade cheese crisps.
Once the griddle is preheated, sprinkle some of the shredded cheese onto the hot flat top so that it is pancake shape and size. Make mini crisps or make bigger crisps.
If making mini crisps use about two tablespoons of shredded cheese. The bigger crisps will take about ¼ cup of shredded cheese.
Let the cheese melt and bubble a little bit. Do not flip! And do not fuss with the cooking cheese.
You want the cheese to crisp up a little bit but do not let it burn. Cooking time will vary depending on the amount of cheese that you used, the temperature of the griddle, and the air around the griddle.
When the cheese crisp is fully cooked, use a griddle spatula to get under the melted cheese crisp and remove to a paper towel lined baking pan to cool down and soak up the excess oil.
Be careful because the Blackstone cheese crisps will hold together if handled properly but will be very flexible until they cool down.
