Recipe for Stir Fry Sauce

Combine Together:  In a small bowl, add equal parts of honey, soy sauce, and water.  Combine well with a whisk until smooth.

Make Slurry:  In another small bowl, mix the corn starch and the cold water to create a slurry.  This will thicken your stir fry sauce and give it a glossy, smooth texture.

Prepare the Stir Fry: Cooked the diced vegetables until tender crisp.  If adding a protein, cook that as well and combine with the vegetables.

Add the Sauce:  When the vegetables become tender crisp, add the prepared sauce of the honey, soy sauce, and water.  Stir to combine and bring to a boil.

Pour in the Slurry:  Once the sauce has started to boil, slowly pour the freshly stirred slurry mixture to thicken the stir fry sauce as you stir.  Continue boiling and stirring to coat all the ingredients with the sauce.

Remove and Serve:  Remove from the burner and serve right away.  I like to serve my stir fry dishes with cooked long grain white rice
