Pumpkin Spice?
If you are one of those that do not know that you can buy a container of pumpkin spice in the spice section at your local grocery store, that’s okay! It may also be labeled pumpkin pie spice which is the same thing.
You can also create your own pumpkin spice by combining ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and ground all-spice.

Bisquick is a baking mix that can be found in your local grocery store. Bisquick baking mix has evolved over the years and now comes in different styles.

How to Make Bisquick Pumpkin
Gather all the ingredients to make your pumpkin pancake mix. Preheat the Blackstone Griddle to medium or medium low heat.
To make the pancake batter combine the Bisquick mix, egg, milk, canned pumpkin, and pumpkin spice in a large bowl and mix with a whisk. Do not over mix.

Just mix until the batter is smooth and there are no lumps. Once the griddle is hot, lightly oil the flat top with cooking spray, butter, or a very thin layer of vegetable oil.
Pour about ½ cup of pancake batter onto the oiled surface. Let the pancake cook until it turns lightly golden brown on the bottom.

Use a griddle spatula and carefully flip the pancake over. Let the pancake cook until they are fully cooked and no longer doughy in the middle.

Remove the pumpkin Bisquick pancakes from the Blackstone Griddle and serve warm with your favorite syrup or toppings.

How to Store Pumpkin Pancakes
You will want to completely cool the pancakes. Stack and place the pancakes in an airtight container.
I like to use a plastic storage bag to remove as much air from around the pancakes as possible. Air will dry the pancakes out. Store in the refrigerator for up to 6 days.
To reheat the leftover Bisquick pumpkin pancakes, warm up in the microwave using 30 second intervals. You can also reheat in an air fryer, on a hot Blackstone Griddle, or a sauté pan on the stove.
How to Freeze Spiced Pumpkin Pancakes
Pumpkin spiced pancakes freeze very well and are great for busy mornings when you just want a quick warm breakfast. Place pancakes in layers on parchment paper or wax paper.
Cover the whole stack with plastic wrap and place in an airtight container. These will stay good for two months.
To reheat place the pancakes in a single layer on a microwavable plate. Then, microwave for 30 second intervals until the desired temperature is reached.

Bisquick mix produces a nice fluffy pancake when you follow the directions correctly. Some people find that pancakes aren’t fluffy because their batter has too much liquid producing a thin pancake.
These pumpkin pancakes certainly taste great with butter slathered all over them along with a drizzle of maple syrup. Top with a scoop of ice cream and some salted caramel.
