Wet Burrito Sauce
The wet burrito sauce that I use in this recipe is called a red enchilada sauce. This sauce comes in mild, medium and hot flavors.

How to Make Wet Burritos
Gather all of the ingredients to make your recipe.
In a small pot over medium heat, brown your hamburger with the salt and pepper. With your cooking utensil or wooden spoon, as the burger cooks, chop the meat into small crumble size pieces.
Once browned, drain all of the excess grease from the burger. While the meat is cooking, dice up the lettuce, tomato and olives.

In our family, everyone likes their’s a different way. I like an all-beef burrito which is filled with all burger. Place the ground burger in the center of the soft tortilla shell.
How to Fold a Burrito
Fold opposite sides of the soft shell into the center. Carefully, fold the ends in and roll over so everything is tucked under the burrito.
Fold in both sides of your burrito. Fold in the ends and flip over your burrito.
Burger and Bean burrito
My husband and daughters like a burger and bean burrito. This burrito has a smear of refried beans spread across the center of the soft tortilla shell.
Smear refried beans onto center of soft tortilla shell. Top cooked burger over-top of refried beans.
The cooked burger is then placed on top of the refried beans and folded as described above. My oldest daughter likes to combine her refried beans and ground burger together and then placed onto the center of the soft tortilla shell.
Wet Burrito Topping
After you have folded your burrito and flipped it over on your plate, pour about ½ cup of the red enchilada sauce over top the burrito. Sprinkle about ¾ cup of the shredded cheese over the sauce.

Melt the cheese in the microwave or under a broiler.
