Why I Love French Fries with Pulled Pork
I love that I can customize the fries to my taste buds by not adding any raw onions to the toppings! I hate raw onions and don’t like eating anything with them.
It can be made for one person or for a large crowd. You can make homemade French fries from scratch, make your own air fryer chips, or if you are like me, use the frozen fries.
I also like to use “smoked” pulled pork instead of Instant Pot pulled pork because it adds another layer of flavor. These pulled pork French fries can be made in the oven, but I love to use the pizza oven.

How to Make Pulled Pork Fries
Prepare the Fries: Cook the French fries how you like. You can use fresh potatoes to make fries or cook frozen French fries. I like to use frozen French fries cooked in the air fryer for a nice crispy crunch. Baking in the oven or pizza oven will also work.
Preheat the Pizza Oven: The Blackstone Pizza Oven needs to be preheated before using. If you don’t have a pizza oven, then you can use a kitchen oven set on the broiler mode or the temperature set at 400°F.
Pulled Pork: Use your favorite pulled pork whether it’s store bought, BBQ flavored, slow cooker pulled pork, or my favorite – smoked pulled pork! Heat the pulled pork up before placing it on the fries. Want to switch it up a little bit? You can use shredded chicken or shredded beef to add a different flavor.
Assemble the Fries: Once the fries are cooked to perfection, transfer them to a sheet pan or pizza pan. Top with the heated pulled pork and spread evenly over the fries.
Make Loaded Fries: Sprinkle the shredded cheese and the crumbled bacon pieces over the top of the shredded pork and crispy fries. If desired, drizzle BBQ sauce over the whole top, adding as much or as little as desired.
Pizza Oven Pulled Pork Loaded Fries
Cook the Fries: Place the prepared pulled pork loaded fries in the pizza oven using a pizza peel. Let them cook for about 2-3 minutes and rotate the pan. Cook another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden-brown. When done, remove from the pizza oven with the pizza peel and place on a heat proof surface. You can also bake in the oven under the broiler or in the oven until done.
Garnish and Serve: Once the pulled pork fries are removed from the oven, garnish with your favorite toppings. You can garnish with chopped green onions, sour cream, BBQ sauce, or even salsa. Or just leave them plain like I serve mine!
